Checklist for creating a sutta index entry


  1. The page title should be the same as the audio file's ID3 Title tag.
  2.  enter translator info, change sutta text link to point to direct web sutta page, such as accesstoinsight.org/.../
  3.   select appropriate reader, grab link to reader bio page from https://sites.google.com/a/audtip.com/audio-tipitaka/the-team
  4. change length of audio file (playing time min, sec)
  5.  change hyperlink to the download file. typically, that would be the audio file residing in a "cabinet" webpage created with googlesites in a "files" directory (usually one level up from current page)
  6. enter date recording was made
  7. select appropriate license hyperlink from https://sites.google.com/a/audtip.com/audio-tipitaka/recording-license-and-text-copyrights
  8. If you have an archive.org account (it's free and easy to get one), you can upload a backup copy for your file there, and set the hyperlink accordingly. Otherwise, let an MC upload a backup to archive.org, where they usually put it in one of these locations:
